A Case of The Can’ts

Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

For such a small word, it can go far. It’s kind of ironic how such a destructive word, contains the most inspirational word; can. It would be a lie to say that I myself, haven’t used this word at least once a day. We hear “I can’t do that” or “You can’t do that”, but what if I told you, that it doesn’t have to be this way?

We have a God that is over all things. However, it’s easy to forget this, and we tend to try to bring Him down to our level. God is so much higher than us. Once we understand that He is the most miraculous King, Lord of Lords, and Highest of High, into our heads, our lives will change dramatically. You will not have a spirit of “I can’t”. You will start a new life with an “I can” attitude.

Take Jesus as an example. We all know He did the most amazing miracles. He raised the dead, made the blind see, and even walked on water. However, if He would have had an “I can’t” attitude, the water the stepped upon, would have gave away the moment his toe hit the edge of the water. We tend to rely on “can’t” because it’s an easy way out of what we don’t want to do, or maybe because we are scared to go to that next step. However, we cannot let our minds stop us from going where God wants to lead us. We must let God have complete control, and realize that through Him, we can all things!

It might seem as if the trial you’re going through right now is impossible to fix, but trust me, you CAN get through it! Don’t let the a case of the can’ts get you down!
